Well, this is a first. An advertised “bass drum” mic that never sounds good on bass drum. At various points in time it has recorded various sources, like congas, toms, and general percussion but it always sounded too thin on bass drum. Right now it is collecting dust in the mic cupboard. Give us a break, we were young and broke. Now we are old and broke. But we have mics!
