Empirical Labs Distressor

We shall not recite the same thing over and over again. Yes, the Distressors are great. Yes, they are versatile. Yes, the metering is probably the best thing ever. And they truly are a modern classic. But one thing you might not hear that often is that the Distressors have a “sound”. A tone of their own. Kind of harsh in the midrange, and forward sounding. This might not suit all material, but it can be alleviated a bit by using the distortion modes.
